FourStoneHearth Anthro blog carnival announced … think it’s a sign?
Catching up on my feeds in an attempt to revive this here blog, I stumbled on a bunch of posts about a new blog carnival for us Anthro geeks (ScienceBlogs 1 and 2, home page, and first host). I’m thinking this is a sign. I always have been an Anthro geek. Done a good bit of archaeology (yes, even in the field). The question will be, then, how shall I participate. I mean this is a general science blog, and I haven’t written much pithy stuff about Anthro (I did have a vanity plate that said archaeo for a long time), but still I think it’s a sign.
Yes, I’ve been neglecting this blog. I kinda feel like I need to blow into the microphone and ask "is anyone still listening?". Yep, I had high hopes for this blog. Interviews, videos, experiments … yeah well good intentions as paving stones to rather hot destinations and all.
Science is funny. It’s like the stuff I see on the news, just gets filed in my head. It often doesn’t click that someone might be interested in that too, or even have a question about it. So … here are a couple things I’d like from you: questions. Ask them. E-mail pls. Let’s really get this blog going.
