I’d say that to get the infection we may everywhere and even in places where we could never think we would!And more often people who worry of that mostly- get it quicker!

One of the grossest things I have watched on TV was when they took swabs of different things that people touched everyday. One of the worst places for high bacteria numbers was the gym equipment(yes an adult gym not at the local elementary school), shopping cart handles and seats at the movie theatre. That’s why a person should carry around the alcohol based sanitizers because you never know when the urge to chow down on something will get you and do you know what your hands have touched?

Thanks Leora. Yep the doctor’s office is a great place to catch something. I do like the alcohol-based hand sanitizers. Then there is the parents best friend, the baby wipe! Even though both kids are now diaper-less (yahoo!), I still keep stocked with them. Quick clean ups in the park. Gentle wipes on sore bottoms.

And the always popular public washrooms where the soap or towels have run out.

ugh, I hate touching anything in public washrooms…but what’s worse is the doctor’s office! I hate waiting in the waiting room with all those sick people sneezing and then touching magazines. It’s gross. I make a point of not touching anything and then washing my hands really well when I get home.

We have had a couple Norwalk outbreaks in our town in the last couple months.. if that is what is in your home, vinegar won’t do diddly-squat. The health group here specifically stated that you have to use bleach to kill it.
