*g* It often amazes me just what wild stuff the average person will believe without blinking.

I expect that we'd be more likely to die out as a species before we mutated ala Marvel. If we were going to experience sudden bizarre mutations as reactions to whatever, it seems logical that it would have happened at least once prior to now in our history.

You're right Deb ... Yeah I can't decide whether I'd want to be Wolverine of Cyclops. I'm leaning towards Wolverine though.

Altough I do have the new Rogue desktop wallpaper right now from X3. Oooh baby. Maybe I'll switch to Jean Grey later.

Back on topic ... yeah people like to dream, and that's fine, but ya gotta put a little reality into the mix. Yes, mutations are going on. But who knows if the the world of Marvel comics wuld come to pass.

Sometimes people don't want to care about the science, or if something is actually possible- they just want to dream a little and have fun believing in another kind of life. And that is part of why catchy headlines have power.

Me? I want the awesome healing powers and razor claws of Wolverine.

Or be able to levitate a spaceship with my mind. Yeah, that'd be COOL. :D
